The Mid West Regional Buying Centre (RBC) commenced operations in Geraldton in June 2005 with a role to co-ordinate and streamline government buying in the Mid West region.

Establishment of the RBC is part of the state government's Procurement Reform program to improve how government agencies with a regional presence go about purchasing the goods and services needed in order to deliver services.

The RBC also works to maximise opportunities for regional suppliers based in the Mid West in selling to government.  Information is provided for suppliers about current and future government quotes and tenders in the region.  These quotes and tenders can be viewed here.
